Polyester 24-strand braided cords with core
24-strand cords are made from 100% high tenacity polyester and characterized by their resistance to climate conditions and excellent UV-resistance. This cord has high abrasion resistance and high breaking load. In comparison with polyamide cord, polyester cords are more flexible in wet condition. Elongation at breaking load is approx 20%. Polyester cords successfully found their wide using in the marine transport, the cargo handling, in the fishery and construction. Also used in water sport and as auxiliary cord for hobby.
