Polyester 48-strand braided cords with core
48-strand cords are made from 100% high tenacity polyester and characterized by their resistance to climate conditions as well as excellent UV-resistance. This cord has good abrasion resistance and very high breaking load. In comparison with polyamide cords, polyester cord is softer and more flexible in wet conditions. Elongation at breaking load is approx 20%. Polyester cord successfully found wide using in the marine transport, the cargo handling, in the fishery and construction. Also used in water sport and as auxiliary cord for hobbies.
